Week 2: Steady Hand Game

For the second week of our 2021 STEM program, we created a Steady Hand Game similar to the popular board game Operation, using a kit provided by Keysight Technologies electronics company.

We started off with a few icebreakers just so the students would feel more comfortable around one another.

Then we gave a brief overview of the concepts we would be covering through this activity, such as what a circuit is and how electricity flows.

We began building the game, allowing the students to experiment with twisting the wire connector to make the game more challenging.

We wrapped it up by having them submit a video of their creations and selecting two winners out of the group. Thank you to all of the students who attended!

Even though our workshop has already ended, we encourage everyone to follow along with the slides and try out the project for themselves. Happy building!
